Other Names: Surti, Dongarpati, Dongri, Wannera, Waghyd, Balankya and Shevera.

Breed Location: They originated in the taluks of Basavakalyan, Bidar and Bhalki of Bidar district in Karnataka and adjoining Latur district of the state of Maharashtra.

Deoni cattle breed is the one of the important dual purpose breed in India, Its good milk yielder and draft animal. Name of the breed derived from Deoni Taluka of Latur district of Maharashtra.

Size: Deoni cattle is medium build Animal.

Colour: Mostly Deoni cattle will be tree different colour patterns, first is irregular black spots on white colour, second is black patches on the side of the face on white cattle and third is black spots on the lower side of the white cattle.
